The Lynx Initiative

Summary of Future Team Plans

The Lynx Initiative is committed to expanding access to robotics education by reaching out to underserved communities and engaging children who may not have previous exposure to STEM opportunities. Recognizing the need to broaden outreach beyond families already involved in STEM, The Lynx Initiative plans to attend parent-teacher conferences, school assemblies, and place flyers in local businesses to connect with new participants.

In addition to recruitment efforts, The Lynx Initiative is implementing a holistic approach to support student’s academic success by offering tutoring sessions at AK SCI before robotics meetings. These sessions provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for students to seek help with homework and schoolwork, fostering personal growth and academic achievement.

By investing in the education and development of all children, regardless of background, The Lynx Initiative aims to create a community of empowered individuals who will contribute positively to their communities in the future. Through these initiatives, The Lynx Initiative is building a stronger foundation for STEM learning and nurturing future leaders who will make a difference in their communities.
