Mountain View Pride Festival Saturday, August 8th from 12-6pm. The festival will take place in the parking lot behind Brewsters. Join us and other organizations for fun, family friendly activities. The museum will offer free admission on the day of the festival.

Summer Activity Series - The Summer Activity Series features hands-on, topic related activities throughout the museum for all ages.

December Tinker Time - Tinker Time is now on both Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10:00am-Noon

Teddy Bear Tea - Saturday, December 27th from 2:30-4:00pm. Activities will include cookie decorating, story time, conversation games, hot beverages and a drawing for a fabulous door prize.  All ages welcome, so please dress up and bring your teddy bear or other beloved stuffed animal. Price:  $7 members/$10 non members.

Feeders, Flight, Fossils, and Flint - A new hands on activity series coming up at the end of the month.

HAUNTED MUSEUM MYSTERY OCT 24-25
Hey kids, come see the haunted museum! Travel the museum looking for missing pieces of our newest exhibit, the "Hannu Dragon's Tablet" and find your very own piece of the dragon's treasure!

  • Friday October 24 3-8pm and Saturday Oct 25 10-6.
  • $6 for adult and child. $3 for each additional child.

Funding alert - May 29, 2006
Despite our rather late but concerted efforts to garner funding from the State Legislature and from our Washington legislators, funds for code work and improvements will not be forthcoming this year, so now is the time YOU can be of greatest assistance to keep the Museum alive.

Museum Hires New Executive Director
Katch Bacheller, past Board member, owner of RetailMakeover.com and successful business entrepreneur has been selected from a field of eminently qualified applicants to fill the position of Executive Director.

Most dinosaurs were never meant to fly, but a collection of rare high latitude fossils that have flown around the world from Australia to Italy, Argentina, Japan and the U.S. are now coming to Alaska. These are the fossil beasts that revolutionized our ideas about the behavior of dinosaurs.
