June 10-13
Butterflies, birds, and bats all fly! Do you know how? Learn about the principles of flight in a workshop that really soars!

Klondike Kids:
June 17-20
Catch gold fever in this fun, hands on workshop. Learn the science and technique of gold panning and take home your own little “nuggets.”

Pet vs. Predator:
June 24-27
Do you have a cute kitty? Playful puppy? Pretty parakeet? Learn about their wild Alaskan counterparts in nature.

Dinosaur Detectives:
July 8-11
Please help us solve a mystery at the museum. Shhh! It is TOP SECRET!

How Do We Know Our
Climate Is Changing?

July 15-18
Scientists rely on a wide variety of evidence to study climate. Look back at ancient causes and signs that our Earth has undergone a variety of dramatic climate change.

Water, Water Everywhere:
July 22-25
Water is unique and all around us. Find out interesting facts and perform experiments with
the slippery substance we use everyday.

Culture Shock:
July 29-August 1
Have you ever looked at your bedroom as an archeological dig? Be prepared to compare
yourself to kids from the past. Bring an artifact from your room to match up to relics from the past.

Myths, Legends, and Folklore:
August 5-8
Explore the fact and fantasy of mythical creatures from popular legends. Learn about the real
animals that inspired these tales. Compare a narwhal to a unicorn; delve into sea monsters
and more in this mythical exploration!

Who Goes There?
August 12-15
Have you ever wondered what animal left those tracks or droppings in your backyard?
Find out how to identify animals by their prints and scat as you learn more about animal tracking.

Cost: $5 per child, chaperones free (Discounts for groups over 15 children) 50% deposit required

Hours: 10am-12pm, and 1:30pm-3:30pm
Tuesday-Friday mornings book first
