SUMMER CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
$20.00 per day and $100.00 per week
Three hour camps with snack. All Day Camps are in session from 9am-12pm M-F

JUNE 11-15
Jaws & Claws I: Take a trip back to the age of dinosaurs! Examine and make fossils, study teeth and claws, adopt a dinosaur, and participate in a big dig.
JUNE 18-22
Invasion of the Pods: We’re talking seed pods! Dissect seeds, grow hair you can eat, make plant art, and plant a garden.
JUNE 25-29
Mission Mars: 3-2-1 blast off! Your mission is to learn about changes to your body in space, make rockets, learn how scientists study Mars all while designing and building a Mars spacecraft.
JULY 9-13
Fire & Ice, Alaska Geology: Learn about Alaska’s coldest and hottest geologic structures. Build volcanoes and examine the effects of glaciers.
JULY 16-20
Jaws & Claws II: Splash! This week is about sea serpents that lived long ago. Examine fossils, make models of these ancient and sometimes frightening giants of the deep, and participate in a big dig.
JULY 23-27
Mission Jupiter: Your mission this week is to learn about the wild and windy world of Jupiter. Explore Jupiter’s red spot, moons and its effect on our solar system all while creating a Jupiter spacecraft.
JULY 30-AUG 3
Tusks, Teeth & Tundra: Discover Alaska during its last ice age. Explore animals that lived then and still survive today. Learn about the museum’s new cave bear.
AUG 6-10
I Dare You To Eat It: How brave are you? Would you eat a flower? A leaf? Mold? Tiny organisms? You might just surprise yourself. Learn about weird gardens and how they produce food.
AUG 13-17
Jaws & Claws III: Only for the bravest of campers! Learn about ancient feathered dinosaurs, creepy crawlies from millions of years ago, and monsters that live today! The big dig is for those who dare!
