Are you having a science or family event at your school? Let us help with our Science Samplers. Tailor your event by choosing 2 of the 4 topics offered below. Each topic contains hands-on games, experiments and activities to fill 3 long folding lunch tables.
Nano
Imagine and discover a world you can’t see! The world of Nano includes art, nature, and even food! Uncover the mysteries of the super-small science that makes butterfly wings iridescent and pants stain-proof. Find out why small science is the next big thing!
It’s Shocking
This exciting theme focuses on electricity and its properties through fun, hands-on activities. We bring the machine that makes hair stand on end, plasma globes, wire loop games, a Tesla coil and more.
Dinosaur Fossils and Rocks
We bring the ancient past to you! Touch real dinosaur bones, identify tracks, and examine eggs, teeth, claws and more. Rocks come alive when their interesting properties are discovered, such as being stinky, magnetic, and squished to name a few!
Bones
Would you be able to find an “alien” skull if it were mixed with other types of skulls? Learn about key features when identifying skulls, put a skeleton together, identify mystery bones, examine fossilized bones, and more!
Bonus! We can fill another table with fun stuff! We usually have objects at the Museum we really enjoy, but just not enough to create an entire theme.
Altogether we can fill 7 long folding lunch tables. Depending on the topics, we may need a couple of volunteers to help monitor the tables or help with activities.
Cost: $300.00 for 1 ½ hours
