Katch Bacheller: Executive Director

Katch moved to Alaska in the late 1980's. She studies anthropology and paleontology as they relate to extinction events. Her main focus is the anthropogenic extinction.  She has participated in the Austraulian dig, "Dinosaur Dreaming" for seven years. Her latest dinosaur dig was on the Coleville River  in April, 2007 for the NOVA documentary, "Dinos On Ice". Katch hopes to start a volunteer dig in Alaska based on her Austraulian experience, dogs allowed. Katch's dog Bozley is a 130 (ish) pound Mamalute mix found on a beach near homer, Alaska. His abject terror of grizzley bears makes him the perfect back country hiking, fossicking and fishing partner.
