Bronwyn Jones: Museum Manager

Bronwyn grew up in Central New York. She was always fascinated by the natural world and how human civilizations have affected it. This fascination led to her attending college at Plattsburgh State University and studying Anthropology and Environmental Science. After college Bronwyn found herself in Alaska, “for a summer job” at an Environmental Education kid’s camp. Frequent field trips to the Alaska Museum of Natural History eventually led into a full time position at the Museum. Her summer in Alaska seems to have turned into quite a bit more. When Bronwyn is not at the museum she likes to explore Alaska’s hiking trails with her dog Atticus, play the banjo and staying up too late looking for the Northern lights.
